The High Lake Experience
High lake is a remote wilderness lake located 2.5 kms from our Welcome Centre on Falcon Lake. This is where you will find our 6 outpost High Lake luxury eco cabins. To get to your cabin you will embark upon a 30-45 minute hike that winds you through the boreal forest wilderness, giving you the chance to unwind and get primed for your relaxing retreat. Some guests choose to bring their bikes along and cycle in rather than hike, the elevation changes make for it to be an exciting ride! Leave your luggage with us and we will safely transport it to the cabin with one of our all-terrain vehicles.
Experience a lake of your own. There are only 6 cabins on this lake, book one.
Each cabin was crafted with its own theme and design, utilizing various alternative building styles including straw bale, log, live edge timber frame, and post and beam. The unique identity, care and personality that went into the construction of each of these luxury cabins is very evident.
Experience living off the grid!
While visiting the High Lake cabins you get to experience living off the grid without sacrificing any of the comforts of home. The cabins are powered by solar powered electricity, heated by wood stove, water is supplied by a gravity-fed holding tank, and a composting toilet system. In other words you still have lights, power, running hot and cold water, indoor flush toilets, and all the kitchen amenities to make your stay comfortable.
