Emerging Writers Sessions with Donna Besel:

Introduction to Creative Writing - Do you like to write? Feel a need to express yourself more clearly? Or want to get it down before you forget? Find encouragement, fun and inspiration in our wild writing sessions. You do not need to be published in order to attend. Learn how to use language more effectively and to observe the world around you with “compassionate detachment.” Learn how to speak your strongest beliefs and access your writer’s voice. Sessions will include: writing exercises, challenging discussions, imagination-openers, group feedback, and tips on motivation.

Master Class with Lauren Carter:

Take a deep dive into your writing in the Master Class writing sessions – created for those who have been writing for a while, have publication credits, and/or have studied writing craft. During these sessions, we’ll work towards getting below the surface of your writing, sustaining a practice despite indecision and occasional chaos, and creating scenes and designing plot. Along with lots of time to write, there will be plenty of inspiring conversations about the art and practice of creative writing as well as the business side of the profession.
