Wild Writing in the Boreal » Fall Writing Weekend at Falcon Trails Resort

writers_banner2.jpg

Bring your writing and your ideas for a getaway weekend of instruction, motivation, connection
and natural inspiration suitable for both experienced and emerging writers. Lauren Carter and
Donna Besel both grew up in small communities in the bush and self-identify as “boreal writers.” They are also award-winning authors who love to teach creative writing. In partnership with Falcon Trails Resort, they invite interested participants to step out of their everyday lives to find, and hone, their writers’ voices, inspired by the wild beauty of the boreal forest. Participants are encouraged to bring a short piece of writing (3-4 pages) to share at the Saturday night readings.
